|

FREMONT, OH (7-21-10) by KistlerRacing.com Public Relations
In stark contrast of what most competitors of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series do with a rare weekend off, Tony Stewart was found in rural Ohio prepping for one of the biggest events in sprint car racing in the country at his own Eldora Speedway. Even with daily race track operations on the mind the Columbus, Indiana native found time to strap into a pair of sprint cars to take on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series (410-cubic inch) and the NRA Sprint Invaders (360-cubic inch) over the Kings Royal weekend.
It was in the 360-cubic inch sprint car where Tony shined as he swept the pair of NRA Sprint Invaders feature events, which included a last lap pass for the win on Saturday night. Utilizing Chevy power built by Kistler Engines, Stewart was able to over come starting positions of 3rd and 6th to pick up the wins at the fame 1/2-mile clay oval. Stewart also utilizes Kislter Engines power on the USAC Amsoil Sprint Car National Championship tour with Levi Jones where the TSR team currently leads the championship point standings.
Stewart's chassis of choice for his #14 Old Spice/ Coca-Cola/ Office Depot entry this weekend was Eagle Chassis of Springfield, Illinois. Jerry Russell's first chassis came off the jig in October of 1997 and has been found in victory lane at the Knoxville Nationals 3-times and has helped win numerous series and track championships since.
"I have been a proud partner of Eagle Motorsports since 2001 and they continually exceed expectations on quality and service." said Tony Stewart. "Jerry and his team have a strong commitment toward its customers and providing a chassis that will win races. As a driver and an owner, I couldn't ask for anything more."
